Projects

In order to bring the YMCA’s offerings closer to the south side of Frederick County, the YMCA is embarking on a $22 million project to build a new facility in Urbana, MD. The planned 55,000 SF facility will include a wellness center, child care, sports and youth programming, and an aquatics complex. Aquatics will be especially beneficial considering the lack of such an offering in the area. After breaking ground in 2017, the YMCA hopes to open its new doors in 2018.
