The exciting renovation and addition project at the Boys & Girls Club & YMCA of Greater Waterville at the Alford Youth Center brings new life to the facility in the form of a state-of-the-art second floor design within the southeast portion of the building. Key features include a steel-framed, suspended running track within the existing gymnasium, additional exercise studios, karate studio, wellness center, and locker rooms. A new Health Care partner suite will open the door for new, beneficial partnership programming that will allow the community new opportunities to improve their health and wellbeing. In anticipation of these changes, a parking lot expansion plan calls for 75 new spaces on the north side of the building to better serve the member population. All these additions and renovations will help the Boys & Girls Club & YMCA in their mission to inspire and enable young people and their families to realize their full potential in health, productivity, responsibility, and caring.
